Founded in 2005 by Chris and Pat Morgan, the St Ives Electric Boat Company has successfully operated on the Great River Ouse. With the use of electric powered boats the company has always been ahead of it's time and almost two decades on the technology remains current.

The Fleet
The fleet is made up of two 21 foot Phoenix electric passenger boats built in Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads. The boats are comfortable and sit low in the water which allows passengers to be close to nature.

Due to their size and manoeuvrability the boats are capable of accessing the smaller backwater channels that the larger cruisers cannot access.

Our route
We mainly operate in the scenic stretch of river between St Ives and Hemingford Locks. Here you can see all sorts of wildlife including herons and kingfishers. There is a unique view of the historic St Ives bridge which we pass under to access the quieter and more peaceful part of our journey.
